What is the main idea?
Ivan and Stella are circus animals at Exit 8, the Big Top Mall.
What did you like about this book?
The One and Only Ivan is about a gorilla named Ivan. Ivan is not alone. He has his best friend Stella the elephant. Ivan also has a friend dog named Bob. Ivan lives at Exit 8. What I don’t like about the story is the workers that work at the circus keep Ivan in a cage. They have his face on the sign at the big top mall exit 8. On the sign, he’s angry. He’s really not angry, he’s sweet and innocent.
Adelia recommends this book because it is very interesting and it is also a true story. Ivan is a real gorilla.
