Riding Freedom

Riding Freedom
by Pam Munoz Ryan

Genre: Historical Fiction
Where to find this book: Boston Public Library

What is the main idea?
The gist of this book is about a girl named Charlotte. Her parents died when she was a baby in a really bad storm, but Charlotte did not. The weird part was she was in her Mother’s arms but Charlotte flew in the air and landed in the grass. She was raised in a orphanage.

What did you like about this book?
I like this book because a miracle happened in the book. The miracle that happened was that she was in her mother’s arms in a bad storm and her mother ended up dying in the storm and Charlotte did not.

ZaNyia recommends this book to people that like emotional stories and journeys.
