What is the main idea?
The gist of this book is how Big Nate struggles to be the best. He tries to surpass all others in school by getting help from a smart first grader to pass a social studies test.

What did you like about this book?
I mostly like this book because Big Nate is always getting into all sorts of trouble when he gets sent to detention by his teacher Ms. Godfrey. He plays around with his best friends Teddy and Francis and tries to avoid his rival Gina. He becomes surprised when his Dad tells him to cut off the cheese doodles and Nate starts to go crazy.

Jayken recommends this book to any person that likes drama. I’d also recommend this specifically to Kamani.

The main idea of Sisters is that Raina wants a sister. She has been asking for one for awhile. Raina realizes that she can't always play alone. When she gets the sister, she tells her mom she is annoying. Raina gets into fights with her sister everyday.They always have a disagreement. When their mom asks, "What do you want to eat?", Raina says Burger King and her sister says Taco Bell.

What did you like about this book?

I like how Raina is scared of a snake because when she was young, she got bitten by a snake.

What is the main idea?

Sisters is mostly about two sisters named Amara and Raina and their brother Will. They really don’t get along with each other. They argue a lot so their parents take them on a trip to see their family. As they go, they get closer to how sisters and brothers are supposed to be.

What did you like about this book?
This story reminds me of me and my sister when we used to argue and fight. We still love each other. It kind of sounds like I’m bipolar. In the story they are sitting at the table and they go to put their dishes in the sink and Raina attacks Amara.

I think this story was one of the best stories I have ever read. I believe the author is a very good writer. I know that one day I can be that smart. I give this book 100 stars. Not everyone will think the same about this book. I think this book should be an award winner.

What did you like about this book?
I like this book because it’s by my favorite author. She wrote Smile, Drama, and Sisters .  The author's name is Raina Telgemeier. I love the part when Raina finds out there is a live snake in the  car and she freaks out. It’s funny how at first they hate each other and in the end they are best sisters. In my opinion I think it’s the best book EVER!
