What is the main idea?

What did you like about this book?
I like this book because it’s adventure and only part mystery. I love animals. The cover caught my eye because it had a horse on it. There’s traveling and scary parts that could make you so worried you wouldn’t want to read anymore, but everything turns out in a way you wouldn’t expect.

Jane recommends this book to any horse lovers or people who like two different parts of a story that come together. :)

What did you like about this book?
In my opinion this book is awesome because it gets interesting and then more interesting. He tries to find her any place she likes. He likes her now and when he was small too. She leaves hints about where she is. He finds the clues, then he finds her. Then they start liking each other.

What is the main idea?
This book is about this girl named Matilda that was very intelligent and loved to learn. Her parents and brother would rather watch TV. She wanted to go to school and she finally got to go. Her teacher was Miss Honey. Miss Honey is very kind and she believes in Matilda because she is intelligent. The Trunchbull is the headmistress of the school. She carries a stick making her look very scary to the kids. The scariest thing about her is that she throws kids out the window and when kids are bad she puts them in a closet called the chokey. She can put them in there for the whole day. The closet has nails sticking on the door and it’s very dark inside.


What did you like about this book?
I like this book because the weirdest thing in this book was that on page 144 The Trunchbull went into Miss Honey’s class and asked all the kids to put their hands straight in front of them because she wanted to see if their hands were clean on both sides of their hands. Then a boy named Nigel's hands were dirty and the Trunchbull said “ you are disgusting” and then she said “I don’t wish to see you anymore of you today! Go stand in the corner on one leg with your face to the wall!” Then she said “Don’t argue with me, boy or I’ll make you stand on your head.” Then she started to testing him on his spelling.

Also I like when it says they have to guess what she looks like because there are no pictures or anything of her. They found some murals and things of what they think is her but they are not sure if it is or not.

I like how they caught the abominable snowman. Their friend got a snowball, then it hit the girl. They tried everything and nothing would work. They unfroze the snowman, then he unfroze her. She wasn't frozen, then the snowman escaped. Then when their dad came, they told him everything. They looked at the pictures, then it froze and they had no proof.

I like this book because it is scary and interesting. I also like this book because scary books give me goosebumps. I like getting scared! One example from the book is that a girl has a green scarf around her neck. One day a boy asks her why she has a scarf around her neck all the time. If you want to find out more about this book I suggest you borrow this book at the school library or ask your teacher if she/he has it it in the classroom library!

What is the main idea?

Sisters is mostly about two sisters named Amara and Raina and their brother Will. They really don’t get along with each other. They argue a lot so their parents take them on a trip to see their family. As they go, they get closer to how sisters and brothers are supposed to be.

What did you like about this book?
This story reminds me of me and my sister when we used to argue and fight. We still love each other. It kind of sounds like I’m bipolar. In the story they are sitting at the table and they go to put their dishes in the sink and Raina attacks Amara.

I think this story was one of the best stories I have ever read. I believe the author is a very good writer. I know that one day I can be that smart. I give this book 100 stars. Not everyone will think the same about this book. I think this book should be an award winner.

I liked this Minecraft book because it explains a lot and has lots of detail about how to make cool machines with redstone. The best machine is the lava pit trap because if a person tries to steal your stuff he or she will drop in lava because if they open a chest, pistons will open and BOOM! They will be burning to death, so soon you will have no robbers in your house!

What did you like about this book?
I like this book because it’s by my favorite author. She wrote Smile, Drama, and Sisters .  The author's name is Raina Telgemeier. I love the part when Raina finds out there is a live snake in the  car and she freaks out. It’s funny how at first they hate each other and in the end they are best sisters. In my opinion I think it’s the best book EVER!
